The Nebraska Republican Party would like to congratulate our Republican candidates on their well-run races. We are privileged to have a Republican ticket in November that will reflect the breadth of experience and vision found within our party.

 

For months we have anticipated having a U.S. Senate candidate that Nebraskans can rally behind; Mike Johanns is undoubtedly that candidate.

 

In the coming months, the NEGOP will show the unquestionable contrast between Mike Johanns and Democrat nominee Scott Kleeb.  Nebraskans are fortunate to have a candidate with Secretary Johanns’ experience and leadership running for the office of U.S. Senate.

 

We are also pleased that our incumbent Congressmen, Lee Terry, Jeff Fortenberry and Adrian Smith, had strong showings in the Primary. Their impressive records of working for Nebraskans will be to our party’s strong advantage in the General Election.

 

Our slate of Nebraska Legislative candidates is a group of promising individuals, from incumbents to new community leaders looking to make a difference on the state level. There are challenges ahead in these races, and the NEGOP will be counting on our Republican voters to help close the gap for these candidates.
